Their CTO was doing the hiring. Agencies were being used for graduate roles. They knew this had to change.

sees.ai builds the autonomous drone operating system for centralised inspection of critical national infrastructure — the first company in the UK authorised by the CAA to conduct routine BVLOS drone flights, and the technology behind the world's first autonomous aerial inspection programme for live electricity networks, deployed at national scale with National Grid. Backed by Boeing, Hearst Ventures and Sustainable Future Ventures.

In January 2024, they were a small, deeply technical team with two immediate problems.

Their CTO was running the hiring process — every hour spent sourcing, screening and coordinating was an hour not spent on the technology. And despite that, they were still using recruitment agencies, even for graduate hires, where the economics made the least sense.

sees.ai is an ambitious company. They knew significant scaling was coming, and they wanted the right infrastructure in place before they needed it.

So they tested us first.

🌱 Foundation — January 2024. Cohort began with sees.ai through the Foundation model. Foundation isn't a reduced service — it's the complete Cohort model from hire one: attraction, briefs, sourcing, screening, interviews, hiring-manager coordination, process design, and the systems underneath. The price was agreed up front, and we were paid for results.

The first phase brought in:

The CTO got his time back. The infrastructure was in place.

🌳 Growth — May 2025. Eighteen months later, sees.ai was ready to scale. We resumed the partnership through the Growth model — running a full hiring programme across six functions at once, at a company that had just secured a £3.65m pre-Series A round and a landmark contract with National Grid.

The programme spanned:

17 hires in 10 months.
