Expert hiring, on demand. Run by us when you're recruiting, nothing when you're not.

Flex is for when you're past the growth sprint — hiring steadily rather than all at once. Building an in-house recruitment team doesn't yet make sense, but you shouldn't be sourcing candidates and working through applications either. The processes are already in place — you had them, or we built them with you — and what you need now is an expert team to run them, only when there's hiring to do.
You decide which parts of the process to keep and which to hand over: headhunting, screening and responding to applicants, running interviews, or the whole cycle. We run the parts you give us to the same standard we'd run a full programme — scaled to what you actually need that month.
The commercial model reflects that. Each month we agree the tasks and the time involved, and you pay for the work you use — nothing more. No fixed overhead, no lead time, no recruitment function sitting idle between hires. You keep full control of both budget and outcomes.
It's how we work with two of our longest-standing clients — two very different businesses, both on Flex for five years. ITDev, a UK embedded-software consultancy, has grown from 20 people to 45 across graduate, experienced-engineer and operational hires.
Carbon Limits, an Oslo climate consultancy recruiting in some of the most specialist disciplines in its sector, has made around 25 hires over the same period — from interns to COO. In both, Cohort runs the process entirely as the client, and leadership steps in only to choose between candidates who already fit — which, as ITDev's Bruce Mitchell puts it, is the only part of hiring they should be spending time on.
